Allysa Lisbon is a cinematographer based in Los Angeles, originally from Kansas City, Missouri. They hold an MFA in cinematography from American Film Institute and have shot films premiering at Hollyshorts Film Fest, AFI Fest, Imagine This Fest, the Telly Awards, and the Smithsonian Museum. Recently, they were selected as one of four DP’s in the third year of Issa Rae’s Find Your People Program.

Allysa is motivated by a strong belief in the power of visual storytelling, and its ability to expand our shared sense of humanity. They balance refined technical skill with attention to story detail to bring out the emotional truth of each project and create bold images.

Working across narrative, commercial, and music videos, Allysa is excited by each chance to dive into a new world. With curiosity at the center of their work, they aim to create a sense of power, beauty, and awe with their lens.
